SpeeDee Oil Change & Auto Service is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Wheel Alignment Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, with a specific focus on wheel alignment. As a Wheel Alignment Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing alignment issues, performing necessary adjustments, and ensuring that all vehicles meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards. You will work closely with other technicians and service advisors to provide top-notch service to our customers. Your role will involve using advanced alignment equipment and tools, interpreting alignment readings, and making precise adjustments to the vehicle's suspension and steering systems. You will also be expected to communicate effectively with customers, explaining the alignment process and any additional repairs that may be needed. Attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to customer satisfaction are essential qualities for this position. In addition to alignment tasks, you will also be required to assist with other general automotive repairs and maintenance duties, including responsibilities as a lube tech as needed. Responsibilities

Perform wheel alignments on various types of vehicles.
Diagnose alignment issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
Adjust vehicle suspension and steering components to manufacturer specifications.
Inspect and test drive vehicles to ensure proper alignment.
Communicate with customers about alignment issues and necessary repairs.
Maintain accurate records of services performed.
Ensure all alignment equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
Assist with other general automotive repairs and maintenance tasks.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Stay updated on the latest alignment techniques and technologies.
Work collaboratively with other technicians.
Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns.
Order and manage inventory of alignment-related parts and supplies.
Perform quality control checks on completed alignments.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification in automotive technology or related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in wheel alignment or related automotive repair.
Strong knowledge of vehicle suspension and steering systems.
Proficiency with alignment equipment and diagnostic tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and perform manual tasks.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Commitment to ongoing training and professional development.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and specifications.
Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
